We hire senior only.

Wedece is a small studio of senior specialists. Every engineer, designer and operator you would work with has shipped dozens of production systems. No juniors, no offshore hand-offs, no 80-page status decks — real ownership of real products, with the autonomy that comes with being trusted.

Senior or nothing

We do not run a junior pipeline. If you are not ready to own a system end-to-end, this is not the place yet.

Small team, deep stack

Six to ten people across product, design, engineering and platform. You will touch architecture, code, infra and on-call.

Async-first, EU/US hours

Remote-first, written by default. Two or three working hours of overlap per day, the rest is yours.

Engineering

Senior Full-Stack Engineer

Remote · EU/US Full-time $90,000–140,000 USD/yr Senior level

Apply

You own production Next.js + TypeScript code end-to-end: schema, API, UI, infra, on-call. No hand-offs, no ticket factory, no waiting for someone else to unblock you.

What you ship

— Production Next.js (App Router) features from schema to pixel
— API design with clear contracts, real tests and rollback plans
— Deploys to Vercel / Cloudflare / AWS with proper observability
— Code reviews that raise the bar for the rest of the team

What we expect

— 7+ years shipping production web software
— Deep TypeScript — no `any`, no shortcut casts
— Comfortable with Postgres or Firestore, including index design
— You can debug a memory leak, a slow query and a layout shift in the same week
— Written communication that does not need translation

Nice to have

— You have shipped React Server Components on a real product
— Background in payments, auth or realtime
— Open-source contributions we can read

Senior AI Engineer (LLM / RAG / Agents)

Remote · EU/US Full-time $110,000–160,000 USD/yr Senior level

Apply

You build LLM features that actually ship: production RAG, custom agents, evals, and cost / latency budgets that hold under real traffic — not demos.

What you ship

— Production RAG pipelines on Anthropic Claude, OpenAI or Google AI
— Agent and tool-use systems with proper traces and evals
— Latency, cost and quality dashboards that we actually read
— Pragmatic calls: when to fine-tune, when to just prompt better

What we expect

— 5+ years backend or ML engineering, 2+ years on production LLM features
— You have shipped a non-toy retrieval system: chunking, hybrid search, re-ranking
— You write evals before you ship a prompt change
— Strong opinions about prompt engineering and the limits of it

Nice to have

— Genkit, LangChain or LlamaIndex used in anger
— Experience with vector stores at scale
— You have written something publicly about LLMs and corrected yourself later

Design

Senior Product Designer

Remote · EU/US Full-time $80,000–120,000 USD/yr Senior level

Apply

You own design end-to-end: research, IA, interaction, motion and the design system. Figma engineers can read, code you wrote yourself when needed.

What you ship

— Full product flows from problem framing to high-fidelity Figma
— Design systems that scale across products, not just one launch
— Motion specs and micro-interactions, not static screens
— Pairing with engineers in PRs, not throwing files over the fence

What we expect

— 6+ years product design, at least two of them at a senior level
— A portfolio of shipped products, not unshipped concepts
— Comfort writing copy, not waiting for it
— Working knowledge of Tailwind / shadcn so your specs match what we build

Nice to have

— You have built a design system from scratch
— You can prototype in code (React, Framer or similar)

Engineering

Senior Mobile Engineer (React Native)

Remote · EU/US Full-time $90,000–135,000 USD/yr Senior level

Apply

You own iOS and Android in React Native + Expo: native modules where needed, OTA pipelines, App Store submissions, performance work that survives a real low-end device.

What you ship

— Cross-platform features in React Native + Expo
— Native modules in Swift / Kotlin when JS is not enough
— EAS build and submit pipelines, OTA updates, crash analytics
— Performance work measured on real devices, not simulators

What we expect

— 6+ years mobile, 3+ years on React Native in production
— You have published apps to App Store and Play and dealt with rejections
— Comfort reading native iOS / Android code
— You treat offline state, biometrics and push as features, not bullets

Nice to have

— Fintech or healthcare apps under your belt
— Deep links, background tasks, in-app purchases experience

Platform

Senior Platform / DevOps Engineer

Remote · EU/US Full-time $100,000–150,000 USD/yr Senior level

Apply

You own the boring critical layer: CI, infra, observability, security baselines and on-call so the rest of the studio can ship without fear.

What you ship

— CI/CD that catches real regressions, not flaky red builds
— Infra on Vercel, Cloudflare, AWS or Hetzner — picked for the project, not the resume
— Observability that answers "what just broke" in under a minute
— Security defaults: HSTS, CSP, secret rotation, audit trails

What we expect

— 7+ years building and operating production systems
— Hands-on with at least two of: Vercel, Cloudflare, AWS, GCP, Hetzner
— Terraform, Pulumi or equivalent IaC fluency
— You have been on a real on-call rotation and improved it

Nice to have

— Background in fintech-grade compliance (SOC 2, PCI, GDPR)
— You have written a postmortem you would still sign today
